Fourth Goa State Film Festival will begin from May 1 in the capital city of Panaji.
"Five Konkani films will be competing in the feature film category of the festival," Director of Information and Publicity Nikhil Desai told reporters in Goa.
The festival will not have non-feature film category as only two entries were received, he said.
The Directorate of Information and Publicity and Entertainment Society of Goa will be hosting this three-day long festival.
Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat in presence of Home Minister Ravi Naik will inaugurate the festival.
